We are Kathy and Brie. We are friends. We like writing. We like each other. Let’s write together.

Justify Yourselves ~ wait, why again?

• Writing Stuff Is Awesome: yeah…
• Creative Accountability: when one is beholden to another human being to create you become more likely to follow through on a regular basis.
• Creation Breeds Creation: the more one creates the more one wants to create more things and puts more energy into creating (see where this is going?).
• DFTBA: Look this one up. No, seriously, go do it right now.
• Good Life Choices: when one meets someone made of awesome (see DFTBA justification above) you should do your utmost to know that person better.

The Rules ~ there are no rules when creating

• Kathy and Brie will alternate posting a piece of writing every day for an entire year, starting July 1st 2014 and ending June 30th 2015.
• We will not post on weekends or holidays (as defined by us, not the government).
• Missing a day means you have to write TWO posts for that day.
• There are no rules about what we choose to write.

 Quotidian?

adjective

Of or occurring every day; daily.

Ordinary or everyday, especially when mundane.

EDIT: In November of 2015, we decided we wanted to blog every day (both of us). Kathy generally posts in the morning, and Brie in the evening, and we no longer skip weekends. We are allowed to schedule breaks if we know we will be unavailable for a set time (ie international trips, or extended illness) and only have to worry about “punishment” if we miss two days in a row without a valid excuse.
